What Does A Nighthawk Look Like?

The wings of the Common Nighthawk are very long and pointed, and their tails are of a length that is in between short and medium. In most cases, just the very tip of the short bill is visible; this, in conjunction with the huge eye and short neck, gives the bird the appearance of having a gigantic head.
