What Does A Female Goldfinch Look Like?

Bright yellow in colour, adult males in the spring and early summer have a black forehead, black wings with white markings, and white patches both above and below the tail. The adult females are olive-colored on top and a duller yellow below. The wings of winter birds are dark and mottled brown, and they have two white wingbars and a brownish-black body.
