Are American Goldfinches Rare?

The American Goldfinch is a common bird that may be seen practically anywhere in the Midwest. They are seen a little bit less often in the northern regions of Michigan and Minnesota. Aside from that, you'll see them often in the states of Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa in addition to Missouri.
