These rules stated that immortal children should not be created, that no dealings should be made with werewolves, that false witnesses would be put to death, that hunting was prohibited in Volterra (the town where the Volturi reside), that vampires shouldn't attract attention when they were out in the open sunlight, and that the creator was responsible for anything that happened to the creature.
