Can Vampires Age?

According to a number of things that I have read and seen shown in films and literature, the majority of vampires do in fact age, but this does not manifest itself in any way on their physical appearance. If I were a vampire and I had the transformation when I was 16 years old, then I would always seem to be 16 years old, but my mind would continue to develop. However, vampires are immune to the effects of ageing and cannot perish.
