How Do Linkpearls Work Ffxiv?

A linkpearl is a little piece of jewellery that facilitates direct communication between two or more individuals, regardless of the physical distance between them. Linkshells and different non-playable characters (NPCs) utilise linkpearls to make it easier for its members to connect with one another and with the player. Players may also use linkpearls to speak with NPCs.
