Does Blocking Someone On Hangouts Delete Messages?

The participant you blocked will continue to be part of the discussion. You are alerted to the fact that the person you banned is now participating in the Hangout. If you opt to open the Hangout, you will be able to read the messages sent by the banned individual. You will not get a notification when the individual sends new messages, but they will receive a notification whenever you send them.
