Do Monkeys Like Bananas?

Monkeys do adore bananas. In a research conducted in 1936, monkeys were presented with a variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, and bread, to see which of these options they preferred the most. Grapes came in second, followed closely by bananas; nuts and bread came in last. Milton said that it was obvious that monkeys and apes are not naive and that they like eating them once they have had the opportunity to do so.
