Iran Clash of Clans, a mobile strategy game, has been prohibited in Iran because the government believes that playing the game encourages players to engage in violent conflict with their neighbours. A paper written by psychologists said that the game promotes violent behaviour, tribal warfare, and is highly addicting. As a result, the prohibition was strongly recommended.
