Visit a local IRS office or give the federal agency a call if you haven't gotten your tax refund at least 21 days after submitting your return electronically or six weeks after sending your return on paper and you don't know why (check out our list of IRS phone numbers that could get you help faster). However, according to the IRS, doing so will not speed up the process of calculating your return.
