How Do You Break A Block Of Ice?

Take the ice block out of its container, carefully break it up using your hands, and place it on a cutting board. Put the pointed edge of a big knife on the surface of it and you should be able to shatter it. Use the side of the knife that isn't sharpened to make two or three light taps. Your ice will be cut very precisely for you.
