Do Snaps Expire If Not Opened?

After a period of thirty days, Snapchat servers are programmed to destroy automatically any Snaps that have not been opened. After twenty-four hours, the servers that run Snapchat are programmed to remove any unopened Snaps that have been sent to a Group Chat. Only when thirty days have passed after the snap was first opened will it be considered to have expired.
