The mission of Cat Noir and Ladybug is to defend Paris from a guy known as Hawk Moth, who has the ability to convert ordinary people into evildoers. He is really Adrien's father, although neither Cat Noir nor Ladybug are aware of this fact. Hawk Moth has a desire to acquire the Miraculouses of Ladybug and Cat Noir.
