Is Miraculous An Anime?

There is no anime adaptation of Miraculous Ladybug. The inventor, Thomas Astruc, had intended for it to have a style comparable to anime at first, but he eventually changed his mind since nobody was paying attention to it and he didn't like the direction it was headed. As a result, he discarded the idea, redrew several elements, altered the cartoon's intended demographic, and gave it a French cartoon-style animation.
