Displays designated as 2K have a width that falls somewhere in the 2,000-pixel range. Because 2K displays typically have a display resolution of 2560 by 1440, the term "1440p" is sometimes abbreviated to "1440p." Despite this, the resolution in question is officially recognised as Quad HD (QHD). As a result, the resolution of many displays is advertised as being 2K QHD.
