Typically, a social bot may post using a fictitious account, complete with its own profile picture, posts, and a sizeable number of followers or friends. This account is used by the social bot in order to disseminate either its commercial messages or its political comments. This may be accomplished via the use of likes and retweets, as well as through the use of posts and comments.
