Can Songbirds Talk?

Songbirds and parrots are the two families of birds able to learn and imitate human speech. Pet birds may be trained to talk by their owners by imitating their voice. If these new sounds are subsequently exposed to wild birds, the wild birds may attempt to imitate the noises as well.
