Can Someone Hack You From Skype?

According to a statement sent by a Microsoft official to The Verge, some Skype users have claimed that their accounts have been misused in order to distribute spam. If that password isn't secure or if you've used it elsewhere, then hackers will be able to use it to obtain access to Skype and will be able to get beyond any two-factor authentication that Microsoft provides.
