Discord has also tightened its restrictions on what minors may do on the network. It didn't ask for a date of birth when people made accounts earlier since social-media sites aren't permitted to have users under the age of 13 pursuant to a children's privacy protection regulation. Discord now asks new members to submit their birth date.
